In my series, Thomas is blind until he meets Jesus, who restores his sight. I can only imagine just how special this moment would be. Thomas’ blindness isn’t biblical fact, but of course possible considering lots of Diciples started out as people Jesus healed. When storyboarding for my illustrated novel series, I felt compelled to make a blind character within the disciples and ended up choosing Thomas. But It wasn’t until later that I realized just how well this actually went with what we know
